Kawaguchiko Music Forest

“Music gives a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything” – Plato

Kawaguchiko Music Forest is located in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan and looks like a little “European Village”. There’s a “Princess Costume Rental Service” at the ticket counter if you would like to dress up and take photos in the premises! 1,500 Yen for the admission was actually quite steep but if you come after 4pm, the price of the tickets drops to 500 Yen!

Some of the pretty music boxes on display. There were antique pieces dating 18th Century from Switzerland, as well as the more recent “Soap Bubble Bear” that was made in 1999! Kawaguchiko Music Forest, Japan (4 May 2016)

There were lots of ‘photograph worthy spots’ within the Kawaguchiko Forest as well!

The Organ Hall was my favourite where the entire room is a full-length 20m musical instrument – the World’s Largest Dancing Organ.

There was a sand art collaboration with live music performance on “Cinderella” when we were there.

Pretty Flowers were blooming everywhere in Spring. The music forest can’t be anything more enchanting than this!

    1. Ah!!! You should visit in April to May. We saw a tour promoting “Cherry Blossom Viewing” even though its 4 May 2016! The tour was quite pricey for us and we didn’t set aside budget for it. Perhaps next time then!
