Sanrio Hello Kitty Town opened in Johor Bahru (Malaysia) alongside with The Little Big Club which features Bob the Builder, Barney the Dinosuar and friends, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu the Penguin, and Thomas and Friends in 2012!
I was lucky to win 4 free tickets during a media owner event to visit Puteri Harbour Nusajaya with my sister-in-law and nieces during the December school holidays in 2014. Frankly speaking, I didn’t know the tickets for the all-day pass was RM$125 (approximately SG$40) per ticket.
We took an express bus from Jurong East Bus Interchange around 11AM for S$4 (one-way ticket). Upon arrival at the bus terminal in Johor Bahru (JB) around 2:20PM, we switched to another bus that will take us to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town (RM$2.50 for one-way ticket). We finally reached our destination at 3PM and were fashionably hungry by then!
There were a few cute rides in the indoor theme park and you can visit Hello Kitty’s house and take photos with the mascots. There’s also “live performances” where you can watch Hello Kitty and friends sing and dance on stage. I guess this is a kid’s haven! For me, it’s just a chance to ‘camwhore’ with my nieces.
